Cynthia Cotts

Cynthia Cotts is a respected journalist who has worked in the New York publishing world since the late 1980s. She is a legal reporter at Bloomberg News. Before that, she was a senior editor at The American Lawyer in addition to serving as a faculty member of the Columbia School of Journalism. She penned Press Clips, a regular column analyzing the American press, which was published The Village Voice, from 1998-2004.
She previously worked as a staff writer and columnist for the National Law Journal.
Her work has appeared in numerous publications, including The Nation, Rolling Stone, Salon.com and Lingua Franca, among other publications.
