[edit] October 2007
This is your only warning.
The next time you make a personal attack as you did at Wikipedia:Suspected sock puppets/KevinErskine, you will be blocked for disruption. Comment on content, not on other contributors or people. Making apparently malicious sockpuppetry claims with no evidence whatseover; the only reason I haven't yet blocked this as a trolling account is to give you the chance to explain what's possibly an honest mistake. — iridescent (talk to me!) 13:54, 12 October 2007 (UTC)
- If you did your research, you would see that my claims of sockpuppetry against that user have merit. There is no "personal attack" involved here, simply an assertion that I believe that another editor is using sock puppets. By checking your prior contributions, I see that you have had prior interaction with the accused sock puppeteer. I feel that this disqualifies you from making a judgment about my claim, as I question your neutrality. Additionally, by making accusations about me such as you have, I believe that you are in violation of wikipedia's civility policy for threatening to block me simply because I opened a sock puppety claim against another editor. [edit] Blocked
This blocked user (block log | autoblocks | rangeblocks | unblock | contribs | deleted contribs) has asked to be unblocked, but an administrator has reviewed and declined this request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy). Do not remove this unblock request while you are blocked.
Request reason: "I am NOT impersonating CyberGhostface. I feel that the blocking of my account for "impersonation" by jpgordon is totally unwarranted. Is it a violation of wikipedia rules to create a user name that just happens to be similar to the user name of another wikipedia editor? I have never made any edits either on CyberGhostface's user page, or on any articles CyberGhostface has created or edited... in fact, I have never had any interaction with CyberGhostface at all! I feel that the only reason that jpgordon has accused me of "impersonation" is because I made a claim of sock puppetry against an editor which he has had a relationship with. I created a legitimate article for Kevin Erskine, and after the subject of the article objected to the creation of this article by claiming that "he never authorized the article" and started blanking the entire article, he was blocked. He appealed his block, and somehow jpgordon got involved in this matter and deleted the article from wikipedia, despite the fact that everything in the article was properly cited and nothing contained in the article that was untrue or objectionable. Since I have direct personal knowledge that KevinErskine was using sock puppets, I filed a claim of sock puppetry against this editor. Without even investigating my claim, two users who have had past interaction with this editor, Iridescent and jpgordon, accused me of filing a false claim of sock puppetry, and one of them (jpgordon), accused me of impersonating another editor and blocked my account. I question the neurality of these two editors, and I feel that their accustaions and the blocking of my account is unwarranted. Therefore, I would like to request that my block be lifted, and I be allowed to edit on wikipedia once again. Thank you! CyberGhostfarce 11:00, 15 October 2007 (UTC)"
Decline reason: "See User talk:Citizen Dick#Careful... A checkuser has determined sockpuppetry. Your claim that your ID is unrelated to CyberGhostface is also unbelievable. —Wknight94 (talk) 11:27, 15 October 2007 (UTC)"
