Bee mine is a pun of the phrase "be mine", often seen on Valentine's day cards. Usually, there is a picture of a bee to get the joke across.

A bee mine might also be a mine where bees are extracted. Unfortunately, this is impossible, as bees are animals and not minerals.

One could also imagine a hidden explosive which would release bees on contact. It is unlikely such a weapon would ever be created, even with killer bees, because the strength of the bees would not warrant a significantly deadly effect to be worth the time and expense of their deployment. However the lack of strength, and the limited shelf-life, would make them far better in a post-conflict situation than current landmines, which often extend the conditions of violence long after the end of the conflict itself.
