Haha, who would call this crap art?

There are citations! Muad 17:07, 22 July 2007 (UTC)
Twombly is notorious for producing meaningless scribble that looks like a hamfisted parody of a style that was already looking dated decades ago. But what can you do? He is recognised by some of his peers, and so he should be treated respectfully on Wikipedia. Perhaps a couple of quotes from reputable critics would be in order (negative and positive), simply to demonstrate the divergence of views. Patrick Neylan 20:56, 10 October 2007 (UTC)

Avignon (where the exhibition was) loves junk or wannabe art. I visited the Palais des Papes there 7 years ago and it was completely ruined by being full, literally to the ceiling, of junky modern art. I mean, how are this blank canvas worth $2.5M? CJ DUB 14:06, 23 July 2007 (UTC)

I didn't see it, does somebody have a link to a photo of this canvas ? Apokrif 18:56, 24 August 2007 (UTC)
