Cut-off factor is used to adjust the length of hose cut to achieve the desired overall length of hose plus fittings. It is commonly seen in hydraulic hose/fitting specifications.
Cut-off factor is specific to a particular hose fitting. The units used are any units of length.
C1 = Cut-off factor 1 (1st hose end); C2 = Cut-off factor 2 (2nd hose end)
Cut Hose Length = Hose Assembly Overall Length - C1 - C2
