[edit] Of vandals and sockpuppets

Lufthmark, or "Marco", was evidently unhappy enough that I called him on some copyright violations that he dissed me and another user on his talk page [1], vandalized my user [2] and talk [3] [4] [5] pages from some Cal Poly Pomona IP addresses, and created Curtis Clark's Mom to slag me even further. [6] [7] [8] [9] Now it appears that he has created CurtisClark (or else some poor shit picked a really bad time to edit only the Cal Poly Pomona page), which of course violates Wikipedia:Username#Inappropriate usernames (both those accounts have since been blocked indefinitely). At this point I find it as much amusing as irritating, but it saddens me that a Cal Poly Pomona student could be so unable to cope with being asked not to break the rules.

On 2006-10-06, Marco sent password change requests (47 total), but, as they say, "If someone else made this request or if you have remembered your password and you no longer wish to change it, you may ignore this message and continue using your old password." Poor sad little boy. Now I guess we'll have to start tracking these IP addresses and using other clues he has left to find out who he is, since he has repeatedly violated the Cal Poly Pomona Appropriate Use Policy. How sad for him that when we find him we will probably have to shut off his access to campus computer resources.

Marco, if you back off, I'll let it go. 2006-10-08 13:12:37 Two more password change requests from 134.71.161.50. Either Marco doesn't read, or he's not especially bright. And the sad thing is that he'd doing this on a weekend, which means he either lives in University housing (another thing to track him by), or else he drove to campus.
