Curtis J. Crawford

Curtis J. Crawford has been a director of DuPont since 1998. Dr. Crawford is President and Chief Executive Officer of XCEO, Inc.,[1]a consulting firm specializing in professional mentoring, personal leadership development and corporate governance. Dr. Crawford earned his Ph.D. in organization and management.[2] He formerly served as president and chief executive officer of Onix Microsystems, Inc. and chairman, president and chief executive officer of ZiLOG, Inc.[3] He previously served as Chairman of the board of ON Semiconductors. He was also President and CEO of Lucent Technologies Microelectronics Group and President of the Intellectual Property Division.[4] Prior to joining AT&T, he served as Vice President for IBM. [5] He also served as chairman of the board of directors at I-STAT Corp.[6] In addition to serving DuPont, Dr. Crawford is a director of Agilysys, Inc., ITT Industries, Inc., and ON SemiconductorCompany. He also serves as a trustee of DePaul University. Dr.Crawford is the author of Corporate Rise: The X Principles of Extreme Personal Leadership.[7] He is also the author of Compliance and Conviction: The Evolution of Enlightened Corporate Governance.[8]

He is a computer systems engineer and General Manager by training. An Illinois native, he received his B.A. in computer science and business administration and M.A. in marketing and business administration from Governors State University, and his MBA from the Kellstadt Graduate School of Business (KGSB) atDePaul University. Dr. Crawford earned his Ph.D. in organization and management from Capella University.
