Currency Magazine is a monthly, full-color print magazine covering hip-hop music, fashion, and culture based in Long Beach, California.

Currency was first formed at the Western Conference, by Snoop Dogg on July 4th, 2005, when key players came together to form a platform for the West Coast. The concept behind the magazine was to create an outlet for West Coast entertainment and lifestyle; covering the world of hip-hop from California's perspective. Currency Magazine features many West Coast artists that are often overlooked by New York based magazines such as The Source and XXL.
