The competition for building the Cultural Palace was winned by Komor and Jakab with their 2 floor construction plan. Only later to the request of Bernády György, the construction was raisen to 3 floors. The construction was started in 1911 and in 1913 the inside decoration was finished too. On the window glasses are ilustrated sequences from hungaryan legends. The roof is decorated with blue, ruddy and white tiles. On the principal facade the statues and the embossment is bronze. On the first floor can be found the Mirrors Hall, and on the ballustrades of the windows the portraits of Kazinczy Ferenc, Tompa Mihály, Kemény Zsigmond and more. The most interesting and visited part of the Palace is the Mirrors Hall, which is after entrance hall.
