Purpose of use	There is commentary in the article about the logo itself as follows: defunct organization.The purpose is to illustrate the identification of CSM with the Appalachian Mountain region via its depiction of the hills and valleys portrayed in the logo.
Replaceable?	no, as a logo, there is no free equivalent that connotes by illustration the identification with the Appalachian Mountain region.
Other information	organization is defunct, closed in 1989. Use of logo is fair use.
