Talk:Crystal Clear (software development)

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I dont see a notablity issue. Crystal Clear is a topic covered in many Software Engineering classes..

[edit] Deletion due to being non-notable software would be silly...

...since Crystal Clear is a software development methodology not a piece of software.

Here are some academic papers that refer to the Crystal family of methodologies (which includes Crystal Clear). These were collected in a few minutes via an IEEE search.

Pekka Abrahamsson, Juhani Warsta, Mikko T. Siponen, Jussi Ronkainen, "New Directions on Agile Methods: A Comparative Analysis," icse, p. 244, 25th International Conference on Software Engineering (ICSE'03), 2003. => Discusses Crystal as one of nine agile methods

Frauke Paetsch, Armin Eberlein, Frank Maurer, "Requirements Engineering and Agile Software Development," wetice, p. 308, Twelfth International Workshop on Enabling Technologies: Infrastructure for Collaborative Enterprises, 2003. => Discusses Crystal as one of six agile methods

Granville Miller, "Sizing Up Today's Lightweight Software Processes," IT Professional, vol. 03, no. 3, pp. 46-49, May/Jun, 2001. => Discusses Crystal as one of four "lightweight methodologies" this was probably written before the agile manifesto meeting (held in Feb 2001) that coined the term "agile" was widely publicised.
