Crumlin (Irish: Croimghlinn, meaning Crooked Glen) is a suburb of Dublin, Ireland, situated not far from the city centre on the Southside of the city between Walkinstown, Perrystown, Drimnagh and Kimmage. Crumlin is considered to be in Dublin 12, a Dublin postal district. Crumlin is home to Our Lady's Hospital for Sick Children, the largest children's hospital in the country.

Notable people who have lived in or been associated with the area include:
- Morrissey's mother is originally from Crumlin.
- Phil Lynott former bassist, singer and poet, leader and co-founder of the rock band Thin Lizzy used to live in Leighlin Road, Crumlin.
- Martin Duffy filmmaker and author was also from Leighlin Road, Crumlin. Duffy based his first feature film The Boy from Mercury on his childhood experiences in the neighborhood and treated life there since the 1930s in detail in the biography of his parents, "Barney and Molly".
- Christy Brown, the Irish author, painter and poet, was born in Crumlin.
- Brendan Behan moved to Crumlin from Dublin City centre. He lived at 70 Kildare Road where the house is marked with a plaque in his honour.
- Martin Cahill AKA "The General" reigned in Crumlin.
- Paul McGrath former footballer who played with the Republic Of Ireland, Manchester United and Aston Villa grew up in Crumlin having played for St. Patrick's Athletic of Inchicore.
- Eamonn Rogers former footballer who played with the Republic Of Ireland, Blackburn Rovers and Charlton Athletic grew up in Crumlin.
- Paddy Casey the Singer/Songwriter is from Crumlin.
- Larry Flood former Irish Olympic boxer and Irish welter champion lived in Crumlin.
- Zak Martin the Author/Clairvoyant is from Crumlin.
- Gemma Craven the Actress is from Crumlin.
- Oliver Cromwell, on his way to Drogheda, camped near Crumlin Village (hence Cromwellsfort Road).

- Crumlin GAA Club is the Gaelic Athletic Association of the parish. It is based in Pearse Park, with its Clubrooms in O'Toole Park.
- Guinness Rugby Football Club (Guinness RFC, Guinness R.F.C.) is the nearest rugby club in the area. It is based in the Iveagh Sports Grounds on the Crumlin Road.
- Crumlin United F.C. are a senior football team from the area, they play in the Leinster Senior League. The club have an extensive youth system the most famous former player being Robbie Keane
- St James's Gate F.C. are one of the most prestigious clubs from the area playing their home games at the Iveagh Grounds. They compete in the Leinster Senior League.
- Crumlin Boxing Club is one of the top boxing clubs in the country. It is based in Windmill road.
