One of the VTAM buffers, The copied RPL buffer pool contains copies of the Request Parameter List - the RPL used by a VTAM user to request a VTAM service through the API. For example, SEND, RECEIVE, OPNDST (establish a session), etc. When VTAM handles such a request, he copies the RPL to an area where the application program can no longer modify it, and where it will be accessible from all address spaces, so that it may be posted complete at any time without an address space switch. Thus, like all VTAM buffer pools, it resides in common storage.
