I have removed the deletion tag from this article; I can fix it. I will research appropriate references in FAA documentation so that my fixes don't constitute original research. Cross-country flying is an important part of pilot training and this article deserves to continue to exist, albeit in a more informative form. I will update it as I can throughout the week and link it in appropriate places in other aviation-related articles. Lumbergh (talk) 03:38, 20 May 2008 (UTC)
