[edit] DVD Volume 4 cover art
I wanted to add the cover art parody information for volume 4, but had no idea what the cover was refrencing. Here is the amazon.com Vol. 4 page. [1]
- Deep Purple had a similar-looking album cover with `Deep Purple in Rock', which could be the reference, but that is pure speculation. Elric of Grans 05:13, 14 November 2005 (UTC)
- This is definitely a parody of "In Rock"- not only is the image similar, but the font is identical to the one used on the album cover. In addition, the art on the (region 4) disk itself is a replica of the one on the original LP Minouris 14:17, 28 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Info
I've added manga, soundtrack and movie info to the box. The run dates and volume numbers for the manga are based on Nippon-Export's listings and it was the best I could find, though I don't know if the publish dates or the number of volumes are entirely accurate.
The infobox is also looking a little long now. Perhaps a separate category for soundtracks. Maybe as part of a music section? Or a related releases section with info on the movie, various music and DVDs.--Endsmouth 09:52, 9 January 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Who that guy?
One that wanted to say his name, but was interrupted by the aliens.
- Hokuto's lackey. He never gets his chance to let the others know his real name. Happens in both the manga and anime, and though I've yet to see it probably the live-action movie as well. Papacha 09:54, 16 February 2006 (UTC)
- Nope. That skit wasn't in it. The ones that were used were: Masa eating the pencils; Hayashida showing Kamayama Freddie, the Gorilla and Mechazawa in the other classes; Kamayama trying to get everyone to be more serious about getting to school on time; Yamaguchi trying to figure out why Pootan is popular; Kamayama and Hayashida joining the Hokuto Corps (as do Takenutchi, Maeda, the hijacker, Mechazawa, and some movie actor); and the hijacker, with Takenutchi ending up in America. Most of those are basically scene for scene the same. The aliens aren't even similar. They're talking space monkeys (think Planet of the Apes type masks) named Gori and Lla. 64.40.46.148 03:33, 2 September 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Yamaguchi/Bo-BoBo
- Doesn't yamaguchi look like Bo-BoBo from Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo.they have the same afro(different colors)same mustache, and similar glasses.
- Yes, he kind of does, but Bobobo is more musclar.
[edit] End
The comic has ended on the 2006-24 issue of Shonen Magazine. The reason is that the author felt something roughly translated as "It's enough". --218.102.215.46 17:11, 17 May 2006 (UTC)
[edit] could thi series be considered as manzai?
You know, it is full of randoness, japanese humor, and the stupidity of some characters contrasting with the cleverness of others.
[edit] Hirai Ken
Ken Hirai — A delinquent that got left back. He is 17 years old and older that the regular students at Cro High. He is often referred to as "Mr."
Hirai Ken is a popular Japanese artist
[edit] Cromartie Movie
There is a Cromartie movie that is out. I just watched it infact.
[edit] Dumb as You Are
On the Volume 2 DVD, it was advertised that volume 3, "Sailin' Fools", was named "Dumb as You Are". Was this a mistake or a tentative title for the DVD? Japanese DVD name?

[edit] How long are the episodes?
There's no mention. I thought they were short, like 15 or 20 minutes each. 207.202.227.125 21:07, 23 August 2007 (UTC)
- I'd say about 11. Most of the Adult Swim shows use that format, as do various Nickelodeon cartoons (two 11 minute cartoons are one episode.) 64.40.52.116 05:19, 11 September 2007 (UTC)
