Crown Royal is the name of seventh studio album by Hip hop pioneers Run-D.M.C., released after long delays in 2001.

Crown Royal was mildly successful despite poor critical reviews, and was to have been followed by a 20th anniversary album in 2003 before the death of DJ Jam Master Jay at the end of 2002. The group soon retired after this news.

This album was a step away from their hip-hop roots, and featured more of a rock feel, with featured artists including Fred Durst, Stephan Jenkins and Sugar Ray. Other guest artists include: Everlast, Kid Rock, Nas, Prodigy, and Method Man.

DMC makes an appearance on only 3 tracks. This can either be attributed to vocal problems he had for several prior years or differences between his band mates. Neither speculation has been definitively confirmed.
