Crowfoot will become the northern terminus of the Northwest Line (Route 201) of the C-Train light rail system in Calgary, Alberta once the extension of Route 201 is completed in late 2008[1].
The station is located in the median of Crowchild Trail, to the west of Nose Hill Drive, and is adjacent to the community of Scenic Acres and the business district of Crowfoot. The station will be the northern terminus for Route 201 until the next station, which is likely to be located adjacent to the communities of Rocky Ridge and Tuscany, is completed by 2011. As the station was expected to be the terminus for several years, it is being designed with a 1350 stall Park and Ride lot and pedestrian overpasses that will connect the station directly to both the Scenic Acres community, as well as provide a link to the various commercial establishments in Crowfoot.
