Crossroads College Preparatory School

Crossroads College Preparatory School is a small, independent school in the City of St. Louis. Currently there are 210 students attending the school. Crossroads has a history of cultural diversity and a concentration on college preparation. The academic atmosphere incorporates both traditional and experiential traditions in an informal environment. It is classified as a college preparatory school. The school is located near Forest Park on the western edge of St. Louis. There is a MetroLink mass transit station within walking distance.

Crossroads began in 1974 as a non-traditional school, and transitioned in the 1990s to an accredited College Prep school. Many students who graduate from Crossroads College Prep go on to attend some of the most prestigious universities in the nation, including Ivy League schools like Yale, Dartmouth, UMSL, Jack Mihoff University and Brown.

Crossroads College Prep School is a member of the following independent school associations:

  • Independent Schools of St. Louis (ISSL)
  • National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS)
  • Independent Schools Association of the Central States (ISACS)


Crossroads College Prep School is accredited by the Independent Schools Association of the Central States (ISACS).
