It could origin from when people were calling TV or radio using land line telephone, as an interaction between TV and Phone, but It actually started by the time now, when the 3G communication spread all around the world.

This makes TV more interactive, now we are able to send our images or video on live programmes, and also able to watch TV programmes on our mobile phones.

People are able to listen radio with their mobile phone or laptop, also able to send pictures taken by their mobile phones, to their own websites.
