A cross-body connection is an action performed by a dancer that connects an upper part of their body with a lower part. This action can be used in all dances but mostly used in Rumba and Cha cha cha. The direction of this action is down and across the body; for example a cross body connection on the left side may use the right knee to connection and lead into the next step.
