Croix, Nord

Croix is a commune in the département of Nord and the Nord-Pas-de-Calais région of France. It is located in the metropolitan Urban Community of Lille Métropole and northeast of the city of Lille. (It is around 7 km from the centre of Lille.) In the 1999 census, Croix had a population of 20,638. The commune has a land area of 4.44 km² (1.714 sq mi).
