[edit] Services

The typical off-peak service is:

  • 2tph to Sevenoaks via Bromley South and Swanley. Some late evening services terminate at Orpington.

Service frequencies later on Sundays were enhanced to twice hourly as part of the May 2008 timetable changes.

The Network Rail South London Route Utilisation strategy proposes a new service from Crofton Park (and other stations on the Catford Loop) to London Victoria in addition to existing services, with existing services becoming part of the Thameslink service.

The station has an automated ticket machine on the overbridge; the station ticket office is open Mon - Fri 0640-1320. In 2007 the ticket office was closed at weekends however recently (mid 2008) the ticket office has been open on Saturdays.

New level access facilities are currently being constructed to avoid the stairs to the platform. The new access from Marnock Road recently opened (May 2008)
