[edit] Shouldn't Deleuze / Guattari be on here?
Gilles Deleuze and Felix Guattari have extremely similar aims in their critique of the prevailing psychological methodologies and their "inadvertant" support of the established state (of social exploitation, etc.) Interestingly, in Anti-Oedipus, D&G develop a theory of "desiring machines" very similar to the machine theory of on the theorists mentioned in this article. Great stuff--wikipedia is so wondrous!
Also! Perhaps Lacan as well? --he was "excommunicated" from the IPA, after all.
