This article really needs to be brought up to Wikipedia standards, big walls of text aren't pretty. --74.15.40.223 (talk) 01:26, 30 March 2008 (UTC)
[edit] copyvio
Found some copyright violations, from [here http://www.marxists.org/reference/archive/hegel/works/sl/sl_iv.htm]. Unfortunately, I don't have a lot of time now, but I'll come back to try to sort some of what is and isn't stolen text later... Faithfully, Deltopia (talk) 19:55, 12 May 2008 (UTC)
- The page header says "Encyclopaedia of the Philosophical Sciences (1830) Part One" - which leads me to believe this source was published in 1830. That would make this public domain. As such, I've removed the tag - feel free to replace it if you want another admin to take a look. (ESkog)(Talk) 18:48, 10 June 2008 (UTC)
- The original publication in 1830 (or whenever) would have been in German. The English translation was apparently only published in 1970. I am not a lawyer, and have no idea what the copyright status of translations is; but since I can't rule out the possibility that the translator ("William Wallace") owns at least some (?) of the copyright, I'm going to replace the tag just in case. -- simxp (talk) 00:34, 11 June 2008 (UTC)
- I've asked for help at Wikipedia talk:Copyrights#Copyright Status of Translations -- simxp (talk) 00:53, 11 June 2008 (UTC)
