- Do we really need this article? I mean why not create a "Crime in Europe" article, (yes it does exist) -A friend of mine was robbed in Germany during the world cup-, anyways all Latin American articles already talk about social issues, and some of them even have crime and law enforcement sections, so I’m thinking this article might be a little redundant. - I don't think we need the article BUT
-
- I think arguments like - "we don't need a Crime in Latin America article because there is no Crime in Europe article",
-
- OR "if there is a Crime in Latin America article, there should be a Crime in Europe article", are not good arguments. Different situations are different.
-
- More importantly, that type of argument implies there should be "standardization" across articles. Getting a consensus within one article is tough enough. Trying to get a consensus on standards to apply to all the country articles would lead to madness. Wanderer57 (talk) 18:53, 28 February 2008 (UTC)
