Crippling Depression

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Crippling Depression is a comic strip that was published by the California Tech [1] from 2002-2003, and has since been published both online [2] and in print [3]. It humorously describes the exploits of five Caltech students and a host of their friends as they complete agonizing homework sets, interact with socially inept classmates (see Thank you bat), and face the Caltech student disciplinary board (the Board of Control). The comic strip has a cultish following among students and alumni of Caltech. The main characters were also the creators, Tim Wan, Ben Lee and Mike Yeh. Since Caltech is notorious for a horrible guy/girl ratio, they created two girl characters, Eilene and June to join them on their adventures.
