Crimson Grave (クリムゾングレイヴ, Crimson Grave^?)is a currently running Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Miyake Taishi. It was serialized in Dragon Age Pure by the Fujimi Shobo publishing company in 2006.

The story is set in a time where the world is beset by monsters and other creatures with mystical abilities. The story so far centers around Ash Grave a descendant of the god of death who is also known as the black-winged devil and his traveling companion Mirim who is a member of Ten Pillar Swords Guild and is one of its top ranking members due to being a Crimson(a person who wields one of the ten crimson blades forged by the gods to protect the world). They both have the common goal of revenge on deeds done to them by "The Descendants of the Gods" who wish to purify the world of humans by massacring them either by their own hands or through the use of monsters.^[1][2][3][4]

So far the characters of crimson grave can be classified as either normal humans, Crimsons, monsters or descendants of the gods.

• Ash Grave is a descendant of the gods and the main character of the manga he is often called the "Black-winged Devil" by many humans in the series due to his lineage and past actions. he was originally a blood thirsty monster who killed anything in his wake until a little human girl healed his wounds, 800 years ago, which he received from an as of yet unknown incident. After his brethren discovered his "betrayal" they killed the little girl who cured his wounds, that day Ash vowed to kill every single one of his own kin. Because of his lineage Ash possesses vast super human traits from speed to regeneration to flight and has been shown to vanquish monsters with relative ease.

• Mirim is a young memeber of the Ten Pillar Swords Guild and a wielder of one of the ten legendary crimson blades forged by the gods to vanquish evil. Due to the blades power she possesses super human speed and strength and has been shown to be able to demolish entire buildings in a single strike. She was traumatized by the destruction of her village by a descendant of the gods who looks exactly like Ash Grave but, is evil to the core like all the other descendants, and has vowed to kill him no matter what the cost. She is a very righteous and somewhat clumsy girl.
