Crime Scene Examiners, also known as Crime Scene Investigators, are people that examine scenes of a crime in order to catch the perpetrator. The job may require knowledge relating to science (see:Forensic science)

Crime Scene Investigators have the job of examining evidence found at a crime scene, and generally the task of collecting evidence, being careful to not miss anything. The forensic aspect of this job is to use science to examine blood,fluids, tire marks and so on, searching for DNA primarily.

Crime Scene Examiners work irregular hours. Work could take overnight or over the weekend. If they are needed specially they could be called to do a job by the state or even the country rather than just for the city. That results in travel away from home.
