I don't believe most people have fallen victim to AOL's "Welcome to AOL! You're now a Member Until Hell Freezes Over^tm!" marketing policy. If it said "...most people who have credit cards and use them to subscribe to online services with automatic term renewal and opt-out only policies..." it would probably be true, but would require a reference. If you wanted to be sure it was factual and for some reason didn't want to provide a reference you could always write "anyone and everyone who has ever subscribed to AOL, or inserted an AOL trial disk into their computer, or even looked at or thought about an AOL trial disk is still a member of AOL and AOL membership will be visited upon their sons and daughters unto the third generation." That would require a reference about as much as "1+1=2" requires a reference. I'd try to clean this up but have others I want to do first, hence my flagging it instead of cleaning it up like I should. I'm not opposed to the article in general, I just think it needs help. --Fitzhugh 19:11, 13 October 2007 (UTC)
