Crettyard Gaelic Athletic Association Club is a gaelic football club in Crettyard near Newtown in County Laois, Ireland.
The club was first founded in the early 1930s as Fairymount and it's colours were blue and gold. Fairymount won the Laois Junior Football Championship in 1952. Fairymount and Tolerton were two clubs in the parish of Doonane/Mayo and then parish priest Fr. Murphy got the two clubs to join and form Crettyard GAA club in 1960.
The club is located near the Laois-Kilkenny border.
The Crettyard club has never won the Laois Senior Football Championship but has won the Laois Intermediate Football Championship 4 times in 1965, 1976, 1984 and 2005.
Crettyard has also won the Laois Under 21 Football Championship in 1991, and Laois All-County Football League titles - Division 1 1993 and 1994, Division 2 in 2003 and 2007.
In the 2005 championship they went on to beat Rathcline in the Leinster Intermediate Club Football Championship final when it was played in Crettyard by a scoreline of 0-13 to 1-8.
Crettyard also won the Laois Junior Football Championship in 1961 and Laois Junior "B" Football Championship in 2001.
In 2000 and 2001, the Laois Minor Football Championship was won by St John Bosco Gaels, an area team with players from the Ballinakill and Crettyard clubs.
In 2007, Crettyard were promoted back to Laois All-County Football LeagueDivision 1 defeating Timahoe on November 3rd for the Laois All-County Football League Division 2 title.
