The Crested Bunting (Melophus lathami) is a species of bird in the Emberizidae family. It is monotypic within the genus Melophus. It is found in Bangladesh, Bhutan, China, India, Laos, Burma, Nepal, Pakistan, Thailand, and Vietnam.
Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical dry lowland grassland.
