[edit] State flags

Until you know Wikipedia a bit better, I'd ask you to refrain from deleting mention of individual states from sister cities entries. Most of these cities identify and are identified with their individual states, and thus the use of their subnational flags falls under WP:FLAGS#Do not use subnational flags without direct relevance; they are directly relevant to the sections in question.
Also, please use edit summaries when making edits. Thanks. --Schcamboaon scéal? 20:11, 24 May 2008 (UTC)

By the way, this isn't "Americentrism". I'm actually Irish. ;) --Schcamboaon scéal? 20:38, 24 May 2008 (UTC)
Although I am open to arguments I do agree with your position on this. However (and this is a big caveat) - before changing articles en masse where some people disagree, you really should start a discussion somewhere, put your arguments forward and try and get a consensus for your actions. WT:FLAGS would be a good place to start. There's no rush to make these changes or hit the revert button - get the consensus first then make the edits at leisure.
Your only edits to Wikipedia have been on this topic, and this is quite an unusual and insignificant matter to attract a new user to Wikipedia and occupy all their efforts - may I ask you (out of pure curiosity) how you came across this and why you feel quite so strongly about it?
