[edit] Nowra Wildlife Park
Please do not repeatedly remove {{advert}} from Nowra Wildlife Park. There is a danger of a three-revert rule violation. Any discussions concerning the removal of the tag should be made on the ariticle's talk page. Thank you. Alias Flood 01:46, 7 June 2006 (UTC)
[edit] re Tonsilitis edit and major policies
Hi there is no need "to report". As you will see from any edit screen: "Encyclopedic content must be verifiable." and "If you don't want your writing to be edited mercilessly or redistributed by others, do not submit it."
In essence anyone may remove any uncited material or edit and improve any sections, no need to report, request or seek permission. Key policies are to be able to WP:Cite from WP:Reliable sources in order to WP:Verify. Articles must be written in a Neutral Point Of View (WP:NPOV). You'll note that NPOV requires major and significant minor points of view to be included (but this is not a right for equal article space), and trivial minority views do not need to be included. For policy on external links (WP:EL) and spamming (WP:SPAM), and remember personal opinion is not permitted in articles (i.e. No Original Research in an encyclopaedia - see WP:NOR).
One is allowed to WP:Be bold and just make changes, just be prepared for others to revert back. Repeated reverting is frowned upon (certainly doing so for an article x3 in a day is so heinous it breaches the 3 Revert Rule WP:3RR – better to try and follow a self-imposed 1-Revert Rule WP:1RR). One should always assume good faith on the part of another editor (WP:AGF).
So look forward to seeing you cutting similar speculation from articles. Become familiar with the guidelines and policies and see and see Wikipedia:Template_messages/User_talk_namespace for various template messages to place on user talk pages (eg warning re tests/vandalism, blanking, spamming etc)
Hope this is of some help David Ruben Talk 00:35, 21 October 2006 (UTC)
