[edit] Vandalism warnings
Hi Craig; regarding using WP:AIV; generally, you should only put "active" vandals on that page (i.e., someone who's recently vandalized after being given some sort of a final warning. When admins look at that list, they usually check to see if the user has vandalized recently after being given a test4 (or in some cases at least a bv ("blatant vandalism")). The IP user you recently reported hasn't been active since this morning. If they continue later today or tomorrow you could add them back to AIV. Also, be sure to leave new messages at the bottom of the page, not the top. Thanks! OhNoitsJamie Talk 22:09, 31 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Satisficing
Maybe you should work on how it rolls out. It doesn't quite fit in as smoothly as it can. Yanksox 12:16, 30 November 2006 (UTC)
- The main thing is a lack of clarity. Remember, the reader doesn't know everything, some context could help.
[edit] Grammar
Don't even worry about it. I'll erase my sarcastic (I apologize) comments from here. Happy editing and stay alert. Schwartz und Weiss 10:40, 5 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] re: Bishop
Thanks. I could remove some extra characters that appear at the start of his article and his inbox appears to be chopped off. If you can repair, that would be appreciated. Morenooso 01:48, 20 March 2007 (UTC)
- Nicely done! Morenooso 01:23, 22 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Duplicate images uploaded
Thanks for uploading Image:StTeresa.jpg. A machine-controlled robot account noticed that you also uploaded the same image under the name Image:StTheresa.jpg. The copy called Image:StTheresa.jpg has been marked for speedy deletion since it is redundant. If this sounds okay to you, there is no need for you to take any action.
This is an automated message- you have not upset or annoyed anyone, and you do not need to respond. In the future, you may save yourself some confusion if you supply a meaningful file name and refer to 'my contributions' to remind yourself exactly which name you chose (file names are case sensitive, including the extension) so that you won't lose track of your uploads. For tips on good file naming, see Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions about this notice, or feel that the deletion is inappropriate, please contact User:Staecker, who operates the robot account. Staeckerbot (talk) 02:44, 25 November 2007 (UTC)
