- Do I like the French people?: Weeell...they are sometimes very ignorant of deodorant, especially here in the countryside, and the Gendarmerie is very corrupt...but the country people are much friendlier than the city folk, wheras the country folk tend to have a more...enstranged view on foreigners. I can't believe we saved them in World War Two sometimes. So much for DeGaulle's gratitude.
