"previously called ERS Electronics (ERS stood for Eddie, Rose and Sam – Eddie’s parents)." Eddie had three parents? Austinmayor (talk) 13:49, 13 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Cybersquatting

The supposition of cybersquatting at the end of the article seems entirely unfounded; the article states that Crazy Eddie made its comeback during the time period from 1999 to 2004, and the claim at the end of the article supposes that the domain was grabbed after the company's "demise"; however, the whois record to which that claim refers also states that the domain has been registered in its current form since 1997. It's possible that it was sold in the aftermath of bankruptcy, but I can't see an explanation for cybersquatting. I'm removing the claim until someone can substantiate it.

[edit] GA

I'd still like to see more about the company's product line and the reasons for its successes, but the documenting of its corruption and downfall is good enough to satisfy me. Durova 04:12, 17 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Pop culture references - trivia?

I added a the trivia tag to the pop culture references section, but it was removed less than a day later by User:Cholmes75. We should discuss this here. Please read the guidelines on trivia Wikipedia:Trivia_sections and Wikipedia:What_Wikipedia_is_not, and then explain your argument as to why the tag is not needed in this case. Thanks. • Wouldn't it be up to you to first explain why you added the tag? --cholmes75 (chit chat) 18:26, 25 September 2007 (UTC)

I added back the most helpful list of references--they were "killed" (his phrase) by TenPoundHammer without discussion here. This list is basic to the meaning of Crazy Eddie--you can't understand the importance of the ads without seeing how they played out secondarily in movies and TV shows.--Wageless (talk) 14:52, 13 February 2008 (UTC)

I've deleted the list entirely. It's 100% original research. See WP:OR. Nobody of Consequence (talk) 23:50, 18 April 2008 (UTC)
