It is certainly possible to be a senior partner without being a so-called "name partner." Many of the largest law firms in the United States have more than one hundred senior partners, with most, if not all, name partners being long dead or retired. Paul Lewiston seems to serve in a capacity somewhat akin to that of a managing partner (the senior partner in charge of other attorneys), but I hesitate to label him as such without direct evidence.

• Well he was offered to be a named partner - and in a multinational firm that obviously indicates very high seniority. Another episode had him being in charge of 'interviewing summer associates', 'meeting with the building manager' and being an 'expert in Asian markets', he also frequently seems to indicate he's running the place and that he's been at the firm since the start. I think it is safe to group him as managing partner - certainly someone far higher up in the ranks then Brad.

I removed the image because it cluttered the page up a bit. I also made the lists more detailed by merging them with past characters etc, if they left or were fired I indicated as such.

I based this off comments from various episodes. I think it was Clifford Cabbot who said since they'd opened their doors 30 years ago the firm had had his business. I recall in another episode (2.17?) Shirley said she'd known Denny for about 30 years. So 1976 makes sense.
