Crawley railway station is a railway station serving the town of Crawley in West Sussex. The station is 47 km (29½ miles) south of London Victoria and is owned and operated by Southern

The station is the last stop on the Arun Valley Line before it rejoins the Brighton Main Line

Crawley railway station was first opened in February 1848 on the newly-opened Horsham branch line from Three Bridges. It was situated immediately adjacent to the main High Street, with station buildings on the north side of the railway line.[1]

With the coming of the New Town in the late 1940s, an underpass was constructed at the site of the level crossing, and the platforms were extended westwards. However, it soon became clear that the station was too small for the town, and a new station building opened in 1968 at the current site.[2]
