Crash, Bang, Splat! also known as Backyard Science is an Australian TV series that lasts about 30 minutes with commercials. It airs on Discovery Kids in the United States.

Crash, Bang, Splat! uses stories with everyday kids to explain science & other topics. In one episode, a girl and her friends were camping in their backyard and needed food without going back in the house, so they made a Morse code machine to contact her older sister to bring food. In another episode, a boy finds slides, but is unable to locate a slide machine. So using a flashlight, tissue paper, and a rubber band, he is able to make his own slide machine.
