Craigieburn is a railway station located in the Melbourne suburb of Craigieburn, Victoria, Australia. It is 27 km from Melbourne, on the Craigieburn railway line. The station was rebuilt in 2007 to Premium Station standard as part of the Craigieburn rail project. Connex began electrified train services to the station on September 30, 2007. [1]

Craigieburn has two side platforms for through trains, but only platform 2 is electrified for terminating trains. The station also has stabling sidings connected to platform 2.

On May 6, 2008, the Government of Victoria announced as part of the 2008-2009 state budget that Craigieburn station would receive a $30.2 million upgrade which will include signalling upgrade works as well as a new third platform, to be constructed in the allocated space provided when the station was originally upgraded to accommodate electric train services.[2]
