Craig McKean is a drummer and founding member of the band, Fighting With Wire. He was formerly in the band Clearshot and has featured on numerous Jetplane Landing tracks, but rose to prominence with Fighting with Wire. He is a keen golfer and enjoys cooking cycling and walking, hopscotch is one of his more elitest pastimes. He got to the all Ireland final but slipped and dislocated his ankle which meant that FWW had to cancel dates on their 2006 NI tour, apparently the owner of the Telstar Bar in Creggan, Derry had strong words with Craigs mother about this. The contract between band and venue stated that he wasnt to perform in any hopscotch tournaments 2 months prior and after the gig. Hence Craigs mother has now banned him from practicing hopscotch at home on Sundays and confiscated his favourite brown hopscotch beanbag. Since then Craig hasnt been able to eat properly stunting his growth. For FWWs most recent tour Craig had to use an extremely tiny drum kit much to the delight of his fellow band members. Now Craig is on prescibed medication from his local doctor to combat his deep depression and paranoia of being tiny.
