Craig William Callaghan (born March 9, 1976) is an Australian rules footballer. He played as a midfielder/Forward Pocket and began his Football career at Swan Districts.

[edit] Fremantle Dockers
After winning the 1995 Swan Districts Best & Fairest award, Gerard Neesham saw him as a natural Selection. Neesham was right as Callaghan became a star in his 5 years at the club. No job was to big for Callaghan, he was at home playing as a midfielder or scoring goals as a forward pocketer. He was often found picking himself up from the bottom of a pack after the umpire whistled for a ball up

In 2000 The Dockers traded Callaghan to the Saints in exchange for Matthew Carr. Callaghan time at the Saints was marred by injury (He spent two of 4 years out with injury) So in 2004 after only 29 games for St Kilda he decided to call it quits.

Craig found himself back in WA playing WAFL Footy for the Swan Districts. He announced his retirement on the 22nd July 2006.
