I'm Dr Chris Smith, professor of music history and literature at Texas Tech University in Lubbock TX. I hope to make use of Wiki for various collaborative research projects which begin in the undergraduate and graduate seminars I teach here at Tech. In the Fall 2004 semester, this would include the course "American Music and Radical Politics," as part of which I and my students are "growing a timeline" on the topic. I look forward to participating in the Wiki community
