Cowboys from Hell Demos was a self produced demo album made by the popular heavy metal band Pantera in 1989.

The album contains all the necessary demos for the final recording of their major label debut, Cowboys from Hell.

Differences with the actual album start with track 1. This demo starts with a kind of guitar solo into but this never made the final cut (It did however become an into song for many Pantera shows worldwide).

Other differences include the track listing which is very different from the album. Also some tracks are yet to be added. Finally many songs contain different lyrics and different guitar solos to the final cut.

As usual with demos, this is a very rare item, but now and again one will pop up on an online auction site.

Another important note is that it has been classed as self produced in the section marked label. This is because it was not officially released on the bands 'Metal Magic Records' record label.
