Talk:CoverGirl
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
I have been using the Cover Girl face powder for about 5 years, and I recently started working in a Medical Spa. We have mineral makeup lines, such as Glo Minerals, and ColoreScience. I am absoluetely amazed how great the mineral lines feel on my face! They are light, clean, and not too expensive! I can't believe that I used cover girl for this long, and exposed my skin to the harmful toxins in the makeup, such as talc and fillers. My pores were clogged, and it just dryed my skin out completely! For those of you who are having this problem with this makeup, get RID of it! Move on, and let your skin breath by getting a mineral line! It will only help your skin in the end, I promise!! Good luck to you and your skin! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.54.150.182 (talk) 16:55, 22 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Animal testing
I created this page and moved content here from the cover girl disambiguation page. Someone had voiced concern there over the accusation of animal testing, so I included their counter point and reference in the text. uriah923(talk) 23:35, 8 March 2006 (UTC)
Animal testing is very large in Cover Girl Cosmetics, it is a lie that 80% has been animal tested free. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.89.10.177 (talk) 02:46, 23 January 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Neutrality and Professional Language
I began to edit this page. I have issues with how polished the writing is and whether or not it is neutral. For example, the Awards Won by CoverGirl section does not state what magazine awarded those awards to Cover Girl, or when they did.
[edit] blatant advertising
the products and prices section? ffs!
