Covert Rural Observation Post (CROPS) and CROPS officers are specially trained police officers in the United Kingdom.
These officers are trained to a high standard in observation, using a variety of technological methods.
The CROPS officer is usually used in rural observation and policing and can be found in almost any non-metropolitan police unit.
