Court Circular are the memoirs of Sewell Stokes as a Probation Officer during World War II. I (Kraxler) scanned the cover. The book was first published by Michael Joseph Ltd. in 1950. This cover belongs to the re-edition, revised by the author, by Pan Books Ltd., 8 Headfort Place, London, S.W.1., book number 339. The book was printed in Great Britain by Wyman and Sons Ltd., London, Fakenham and Reading and bound by a Flexiback Thermoplastic Binder manufactured by The Book Machinery Co., Ltd., 72-74 Victoria St., London, S.W.1. The cover shows a photograph of Joan Collins, starring in the film I Believe in You, based on this book. The cover artist is not mentioned.
