Council Rock

Council Rock is located near the beginnings of the Susquehanna River near the shore of Otsego Lake in Cooperstown, New York. It is large boulder whose top is above the water's surface and can be seen from shore. It is believed to have been a meeting place for Native Americans before their flight from the area following the Revolutionary War.

Council Rock High School is now split with a "North" and "South" location. Due to growth in population it was necessary to add the additional "South" High School. Council Rock North is located on Swamp Road in Newtown, Pennsylvania. Council Rock South is located on Route 332 [Newtown/Richboro Road] and Holland Roads in Holland, Pennsylvania. All Flyers Cup wins were won by Council Rock North to date.
