[edit] Criticisms of complexity

I couldn't find any links on the web which support the claim "It is presently the largest corporations statute in the world". Is there a reference to back this up?

I realise it's large, here are my page counts thus far:

Supposedly countries like New Zealand and Sweden have equivalent corporations law that number just a few hundred pages, but I'd like to see if somebody has done some kind of formal research on the matter. 59.167.219.247 06:38, 26 November 2006 (UTC)
