This is to maintain consistency between Cornwall articles and to improve the quality of entries through a constant style of writing. These headings are, however, plastic and in a state of flux and although we welcome suggestions or improvements, we would appreciate discussion before any major changes to the layout yourself. Be bold - if you know something about Cornwall then put it in! We value your contributions and don't be afraid if your spelling isn't great as there are plenty of spelling and grammar experts on clean-up duty! We are aware that the wording on Cornish entries can sometimes be a contentious topic, especially those concerning geography. Issues relating to Cornish politics should be restricted to those pages that directly deal with these issues (such as Constitutional status of Cornwall, Cornish self-government movement, etc) and should not overflow into other articles. [edit] Expert needed

Someone with a little more expertise should go over this article, the quote is inappropriate and probably violates WP:fair use. Cheers, Jack (talk) 00:27, 30 March 2008 (UTC)

What particular sections of "Fair Use" does the Editor think this violates, please? It is from a newspaper article, advertising a course in making Cornish hedges, presumably supplied as a press release by an expert, who runs the courses. The probability that anyone would claim compensation for copyright violation is, IMHO, very low.

I do not understand why the Editor regards the quote as "inappropriate". It neatly defines how a Cornish hedge is made, which the linked The Guild of Cornish Hedgers article does not. Would it be better if the two articles were merged? Vernon White ^{. . . Talk} 22:37, 30 March 2008 (UTC)

I just think it's a messy way to start an article, a bit more information would be a much better introduction to the subject. I agree that it's unlikely someone would "claim compensation" but that's not why you don't just copy and paste everything. The Guild of Cornish Hedgers on the other hand seems to be advertising the Guild rather than describing it and is blatently copied from this site. Is it really notable enough to deserve its own page?
